• Canary Introduces 'Weatherproof' Flex HD Security Camera

Home security company Canary on Tuesday announced several new products, including a "weatherproof" HD security camera dubbed the Flex, which can be used wire-free or plugged in.

Built to "withstand the toughest elements," the $200 Flex connects to Wi-Fi and streams live or recorded video to your phone, and sends a notification when it catches unfamiliar activity inside or outside your home. Available in black or white, the camera has a 360-degree swivel base, letting it stand upright or be mounted to the wall, and a rechargeable battery that promises "months of wire-free use." It integrates with the existing Canary app, and can stand alone or work alongside other Canary devices.
